Stainless Steel is a very durable material for jewellery as it is strong, hypoallergenic and resistant to tarnishing. There is very little involved in caring for your stainless steel jewellery, but there are a few things that will keep it looking great. 

Cleaning - Use a soft cloth or a jewellery cleaning cloth to wipe away any dirt buildup every few months or when needed. To clean more detailed pieces and chains, use a soft toothbrush with some soapy water, rinse with water and dry. Do not use harsh or abrasive materials, such as scouring pads or steel wool, as this may scratch the metal. 

Wearing - Our durable pieces are created for daily wear including showering and swimming. However there are few things you may want to consider to keep your pieces looking pristine. If you are engaging in physical activities such as lifting weights, operating machinery or playing sports, remove your jewellery so that your pieces don’t scratch or get caught, pulled or broken. 

Stone Set Jewellery - All FIINCH jewellery is Stainless Steel and 18k Gold Plate making it perfectly fine to wear in water. However, if you choose a piece with set stones it is recommended not to wear showering or swimming as in some cases the stone glue can be compromised over time. 

All our orders are carefully packaged and shipped in satchels with Australia Post.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If you return is for change of mind, return shipping will be at customers expense, if your return is deemed faulty we’ll send you a return shipping pre-paid parcel, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

*Please note for hygiene and legal reasons we cannot accept earring returns for change of mind.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like earrings. This is for hygiene and legal reasons, unless of course you have received a faulty or wrong item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to first email info@fiinch.com.au once we have replied to your correspondence and you know the item you wish to exchange then return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we can adjust the amount difference for the new item you wish to exchange and either refund, receive payment difference if needed and ship it to you as normal.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
